Understanding the process
Transcript evaluation
A transfer student interested in determining how many credits may transfer from previous coursework and how long it may take to complete a bachelor's degree program at Stritch may submit unofficial transcripts from previous institutions for evaluation. This unofficial review process will provide students with a good understanding of how previously earned credits may transfer into our curriculum.
Your admissions representative is ready to help you. Contact your admissions representative or email a copy of your transcripts from all previously attended institutions to admissions@stritch.edu. The process typically takes up to 72 hours to complete.
Re-entry students
Welcome back!
If you've previously attended Cardinal Stritch University and would like to return, please follow the following steps:
- Complete the application for admission online.
- Submit official transcripts from all institutions attended since leaving the University. Due to the University requirement that all transcripts from prior institutions be on file for all active students, all official transcripts may need to be resubmitted.
- Submit official documentation required for admission to specific programs/majors.
Students in traditional, daytime studies who leave the University fortwo or fewer consecutive semesters (not including summer sessions) will re-enter under the academic program/curriculum in effect at the time of their previous enrollment.
Students in traditional, daytime studies who leave the University formore than two consecutive semesters (not including summer sessions) will re-enter under the academic program/curriculum in effect at the time of their re-entry.
Students in accelerated, evening programs who have been out of class forsix months or more are required to submit an application for re-entry to the University and will be required to meet the University graduation requirements and departmental major course requirements in effect at the time of re-entry.
Veterans and active duty military

Whether transitioning to a new career or seeking education to advance within the military, Stritch has helped veterans and active duty personnel succeed. Stritch participates in the Yellow Ribbon Program so we can help an unlimited number of active-duty personnel and veterans continue their education.
We also offer theStritch Military Grant. It is awarded to full-time undergraduate, graduate and doctoral students who are in active military duty, veteran(s) or have proof of an honorable discharge, and to students who are married to an individual currently deployed. Eligible students can receive up to a 25% tuition reduction.
